Veteran British musician and entrepreneur Dave Stewart has teamed with Kobalt Label Services for the global release of his new album Lucky Numbers, which is due to arrive Sept. 30 through the artist’s own label Weapons of Mass Entertainment.
KLS will be the exclusive worldwide label services partner on the release, excluding the territories of Germany, Switzerland and Austria, where the set will be handled by Membran.
Through the arrangement, KLS will market and distribute worldwide through its global digital platform and network of physical distribution partners.

The first single, “Every Single Night” featuring Martina McBride, will impact U.S. radio in the U.S. Aug. 13.
Stewart already has a long-time relationship with Kobalt in the music publishing field. In 2009, he struck a deal where Kobalt would administer Stewart’s songs, and the company's international sync licensing team and agents would represent the artist for sync licensing for film, TV, advertising, ringtones, games and other media.
That relationship extended even further when in April of this year, Stewart struck a deal with Kobalt’s neighbouring rights division to represent his entire repertoire across the globe.

"I’ve had a really great relationship with Kobalt for over five years and it seemed natural to me when they started KLS, to continue working with such a great company," Stewart comments in a statement.
Stewart’s career spans some three decades and an estimated 100 million album sales. He’s best known as one-half of the Eurythmics, the Annie Lennox-fronted synth-pop band which had a raft of hits with the likes of "Sweet Dreams," "Here Comes the Rain Again," and "Would I Lie To You.”
Stewart is also a distinguished producer who has worked with such musicians as Aretha Franklin, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan and the Neville Brothers.
