Judd Apatow is to produce a film written by and starring comic Amy Schumer.

Schumer has signed with Universal Pictures to write a script for a film in which she will also star, according to Deadline .

Apatow will be collaborating with Schumer on the screenplay, having previously worked as a producer with Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo on Bridesmaids and with Lena Dunham on Girls .
There is no projected release date for the film yet.
Schumer is best known for her appearances on the Comedy Central Roasts of Charlie Sheen and Roseanne Barr.
She also currently stars in her own series Inside Amy Schumer for Comedy Central.
