Cannon told ET Online : "My wife is doing a lot, lot better. The physical therapy is definitely working.
"At [the recent premiere of Lee Daniels' The Butler], she still couldn't really move her right hand, but now she's got a little bit of the functionality of her hand back. She's still got the blinged-out slings, but hopefully she won't need those pretty soon!"
The singer was rushed to hospital after the incident and it was revealed she was suffering from nerve damage.

Mariah Carey shows her shoulder injury
Cannon said at the time: "She's doing a lot better, but she still doesn't have movement in her right arm, there's nerve damage.
"Her shoulder is definitely a lot better, back in place, but she also had some cracked ribs. She can't move.
"The fact that she doesn't have use of her right arm right now has been pretty tough on her, but the doctor said with a lot more rest and relaxation she'll be fine."
