The Halo and Gears of War writer will serve as the new director of narrative design at the company.

Nylund has updated his LinkedIn profile and posted a picture of his new business card on his Facebook page, reports Couch Campus .
"I can't talk about specifics, but I wouldn't be there unless something cool was brewing," he wrote.
He is best known for developing the core mythos of Halo, and has written four novels and a comic book series based on the hit franchise.
Nylund was also involved in creating the groundwork for the Gears of War universe.
He stepped down from his story consultant role at Microsoft Game Studios in July.
Amazon has been rumoured to be developing an Android console for release in the autumn.
