A former Conservative MP for Tatton, Neil resigned from the government after being implicated in the cash for questions inquiry. He was then dislodged from parliament by a white-suited Martin Bell.

He then lost a legal action against Mohammad Al-Fayed, but things took a turn for the celebtastic when he and his wife Christine popped up on Have I Got News For You.
Since then it's been pantomime, quiz shows, comedy shows and more, and the couple have now been immortalised as children's classic toy figures.
On the John Lewis website, you can now buy Sylvanian Families Hamilton Hamster Family Babies.
"Neil and Christine are two very entertaining babies," reads the product description.
"Christine loves making a lot of noise. Neil is a happy-go-lucky little boy, who will smile at anyone as long as they keep him supplied with lots of sweets!"
Sadly, customers are told that the hamsters are sold separately, and "it's not possible to request a specific character", meaning you might have to make a few orders to get the couple together.
