The show, which airs on The CW in America, will premiere in the UK on Tuesday, October 22 at 10pm.

The Originals is based around the Mikaelson siblings Klaus, Elijah and Rebekah, who first appeared in season two of The Vampire Diaries.
The plot sees the Originals return to their former home in New Orleans, where they become embroiled in a power struggle and involved in a community "fuelled by intolerance, lies and a selfish drive for power".
Joseph Morgan , Daniel Gillies, Phoebe Tonkin, Charles Michael Davis, Leah Pipes and Daniella Pineda star in the series.

The latest series of The Vampire Diaries still doesn't have a scheduled air date at its UK home, ITV2.
