The Wolverine actor revealed earlier this month that a photographer helped him find his 13-year old son during a family outing at Sydney's Bronte Beach.
"I've never been so happy to have a paparazzi (sic) follow me," Jackman said in an interview shortly after the photographer helped locate Oscar, who was hiding in a tree.
E! reports that Jackman was helped once again by a paparazzo this week, after he tried to buy a gift for his son at a Berlin toy store.
After Jackman had left the store empty-handed due to his credit card not working, a photographer bought the item for him and presented it as a gift.
The 44-year-old actor currently stars in the crime thriller Prisoners , as the father of an abducted child.
