Bob Newhart is returning to "The Big Bang Theory." Newhart, who won his first ever Emmy for his guest role on the CBS comedy, will appear in a November episode.
The Emmy winner will be joined by Bill Nye, The Science Guy. Nye recently competed on -- and was eliminated from -- "Dancing With the Stars."
In the November episode of "The Big Bang Theory," Professor Proton (Newhart) contacts Leonard (Johnny Galecki) to ask for his help with an experiment. Sheldon (Jim Parsons), who has loved Professor Proton since childhood, seeks revenge by befriending Bill Nye.
Newhart's return to "The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursday, Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
