X Factor hopeful Abi Alton was rushed to hospital last night (October 20).
During last night's Xtra Factor show, host Caroline Flack reassured viewers that Alton was alright, saying: "She has actually hurt her back so she has gone to have her back checked.

The 19-year-old singer was seen being taken away on an ambulance stretcher after falling down some stairs on set.
She tripped and fell down a number of steps, landing awkwardly on her back in the incident.
It is believed that the steps in question were connected to the stage, and that it happened just minutes after she discovered she had made it through to next week.
She explained on Twitter: "fell down some stairs, landed on the edge of one on my back- thankful it's not worse + confident ill continue performing x"

Shelley Smith became the second act to be eliminated on this year's X Factor last night.
