The Miss Dynamix member collapsed shortly before Saturday's Live Show, leading to her group being given a bye into the third week.
However, Foster - who is currently six months pregnant - insisted that her collapse was due to anxiety and not related to her pregnancy.
She told The Mirror : "If I just give up, I'll be left in my council flat struggling again and I still deserve a shot at a better life.
"In case some of you are misunderstood, it was nothing to do with me being pregnant.
"I had an anxiety attack and it's happened a lot in my life. My baby's fine, the heart rate is lovely. I just need to calm my nerves before performing."
Foster added that she "begged and begged and begged" paramedics to let her stay on the show, but they refused.
She is due to give birth to her second child in late January.
Shelley Smith became the second act to be eliminated on this year's X Factor last night.
