Kanye West praises French paparazzi: 'You've got respect for yourselves'

Kanye West has praised French paparazzi for their respectful behaviour.

The rapper was recorded by TMZ in Paris earlier today (September 30), speaking with photographers.

He is seen getting out of his car, saying: "Don't ask questions. Just take the video. Don't do like the LA [paparazzi]."


Noticing that the photographers were obliging, he continued: "I like how you guys, like, move out here. You've got like total respect for yourselves, have respect for the people that you're photographing."


He added that he admires the French because they "take time off" and don't wait outside people's houses.


"I just really appreciate and respect that. I understand that you have to make a living," he explained. "So I appreciate [the respectfulness]."


The 'Yeezus' star was then introduced to a woman who appeared not to have heard of him.


"Hi, I'm Kanye. How you doing?" he said.
