The Arrow star posted a picture on Facebook of him and his newborn daughter - named Mavi Alexandra Jean Amell - in front of a TV showing what appears to be his younger cousin Robbie Amell in an episode of The Tomorrow People.

"She came just in time for Amell Wednesdays," the star wrote under the photo.
A rep for the actor confirmed to Just Jared that the couple's daughter was born on Tuesday afternoon (October 15), adding that "everyone is happy and healthy".
Amell and Jean tied the knot on Christmas Day last year, while they were on holiday in the French West Indies.

They also celebrated a second wedding ceremony for family and friends in New Orleans in May this year.
Arrow's second season is airing in the US on Wednesdays at 8/7c on The CW, and premieres on October 21 on Sky1 in the UK with a double bill.
