With less than a week to go until "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" comes to theaters, Sesame Street is bringing fans a slightly more G-rated version.
This thrilling adventure -- starring Cookieness Evereat and her edible partner, Pita -- is designed to teach kids self-regulation. But as Sesame Street's senior vice president for curriculum and content, Dr. Rosemarie Truglio, told HuffPost at the start of the show's current season, the movie parodies that make up "Cookie's Crumby Pictures" are just as much for parents (and other grown-ups) as little kids.
So, happy Hungry Games... and may the cookies be ever in your flavor!
