Christmas songs, albums dominate charts: Mariah Carey, Leona more

Christmas songs and albums are dominating the iTunes charts this week.

There are currently eight festive tracks in the top 40 from the likes of Mariah Carey , Leona Lewis and The Pogues.

Lily Allen's John Lewis Christmas advert song 'Somewhere Only We Know' remains number one, while Lewis's 'One More Sleep' currently sits at number eight.


The Pogues' 'Fairytale Of New York' is at 22, followed by Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas I You' at 23, while Wham! complete the top 40 with 'Last Christmas'.


On the album chart, the latest Now! That's What I Call Christmas is at number one, followed by the special edition of Michael Bublé's Christmas at two.


Leona Lewis's Christmas, With Love climbs to number four, while a new White Christmas compilation enters at five.
