Emmerdale star Pargeter admitted that the result "was the last thing" she had expected to happen, while Egan added that he had expected Essex to win the competition.
Following the double eviction, Pargeter said: "What just happened? My heart nearly came out of my mouth and it was the last thing I expected."
"I am completely and utterly shell shocked. The kids have gone and we're left," Emanuel remarked.
"I was shaking from shock. We saw Joey going all the way and winning," Egan added.
Pargeter said that she was surprised to have made it into the final three as her behaviour "could be conceived as being really bitchy".
Her campmates tried to reassure her, but Emanuel warned her that some people could see her 'strength' as being bitchy.
"Yes," she said: "that's always been my problem. Never, ever in a million years did I think I would be here, I thought it would be Joey and Kian in the final.
"And Amy could have left me her bikinis!" Pargeter concluded.
