The singer, who is currently dating model Francesca Thomas, told Cosmopolitan that sex on a first date isn't ideal, but it does happen.

"Sex on a first date is tricky. I'd always say it's a no go because I'm a gentleman, but then I'd be lying if I said it hasn't happened," Murs explained.
"It all depends on the night and the chemistry. It's not ideal but ultimately there are no rules."
"I've slept with a girl on the first date and we ended up dating for six months. Then there have been times when I've had regrets.
"I had two dates with one girl I really liked and would have loved to have gone there with her, but then it fizzled out and I was gutted."

Despite being so open about the subject, he said that he never talks about sex in detail with his friends.
"We don't talk about it in as much detail as girls do. We keep it brief, 'It was awesome' and that's as much as we'll say."
Murs recently admitted he would love to join The X Factor as a judge.
