Reddit user wspiercy's son was diagnosed with Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) at 2 months old. Nearly half of babies under that age have some form of the condition which affects the shape of their heads.
Dad explains on Reddit that at 8 months, he needed a corrective helmet. But dad didn't want people feeling sorry for his son, so he turned the helmet into a permanent "Star Wars" costume.
"Benefit: He is learning to walk and falling down a lot. The helmet has saved him a couple times. It also looks badass!" dad wrote.
