The US band will be joined on the road by Temples, Royal Blood and Circa Waves as they play eight dates across the UK in March.
The tour - which kicks off in Glasgow on March 18 and concludes in London on March 27 - will see Interpol debut new material, as well as performing classic tracks.
Royal Blood are set to support Arctic Monkeys this summer, while Temples will release their debut album Sun Structures on February 1.
NME editor Mike Williams said: "Here at NME we are always championing the best new talent, so securing three of Britain's most in-demand breakthrough bands to kick off proceedings for the tour is totally exciting.
"Backed up with the world-beating return of Interpol - one of the most important bands to come out of New York ever - is also a massive coup for us."
Tickets for the tour go on pre-sale at 9am via NME.COM/tickets on January 22, before going on general sale at 9am on January 24.
Arctic Monkeys have dominated this year's NME Award nominations, receiving recognition in a total of eight categories.
Haim follow the Sheffield-based band with six nominations, while Queens of the Stone Age, Arcade Fire, Lily Allen, Kanye West, Savages and Morrissey each have three.
The NME Awards 2014 take place on February 26 at London's O2 Academy in Brixton.
