A source told People that Henriquez had filed for divorce in New York, but gave no reason for why the couple called it quits.
Lucas, 42, and Henriquez, 28, met in 2011 at a dog park and tied the knot in March 2012. The couple have one child together, a son named Noah.
After welcoming their son in June 2012, Lucas said that being a father is a "truly magical, amazing thing".
He commented at the time: "I will go sleepless and die for this child already. And I'm still dealing with a blob... I'm still dealing with something that's just now beginning to communicate through smiling and through these magical little moments that happen only very briefly through the day.
"But it is a truly magical, amazing thing and the emotion and the sense of wonder that goes along with it, it's incomprehensible until you do it. I'm having a ball."
Lucas, who is best known for his roles in Sweet Home Alabama and Glory Road, was previously seen as Charles Lindbergh in Clint Eastwood's 2011 film J Edgar .
