Ellie Goulding: 'I need to sort my life out'

Ellie Goulding has admitted that extensive touring is taking its toll on her.

The singer - who is currently touring the US in support of her album Halcyon - said that she is missing home.

Ellie Goulding is on tour in the US and Australia for the next few months

She told Billboard : "I need to sort my life out. And if I don't do it soon, I may as well just be forever on the road, because that's what it feels like.

"As much as I love what I do, and music is obviously everything to me, I'm being pulled home, and I've got to do that soon, I think," the 27-year-old added.

The singer is on tour in North America until early May. She will then fly to Australia and New Zealand for a series of live dates, before playing a show in Singapore in June.

Louis Walsh has tipped the Brit winner to become an X Factor judge

Goulding is also set to play numerous festivals this summer, including Wireless Festival in the UK and Spain's Benicassim Festival.

Meanwhile, Louis Walsh has tipped Goulding to join this year's X Factor panel, although her tour dates suggest she would not be available to film the audition stage of the series.
