Hugh Jackman 's upcoming Wolverine sequel has landed a writer, it has been announced.
It was reported this week that the third solo Wolverine film will likely be released on March 3, 2017.

Jackman will reprise his role as the X-Men character for the eighth time, following this summer's X-Men: Days of Future Past.

It was reported this week that the third solo Wolverine film will likely be released on March 3, 2017.
According to Deadline , writer David James Kelly has been tapped to pen the screenplay, with James Mangold to direct.
Kelly has thus far only written a short entitled Straw Man, though he is also attached to the upcoming Daredevil reboot.
In the meantime, X-Men: Days of Future Past will premiere on May 23.
