Jessica Chastain kicked off her birthday with a bang!

The Zero Dark Thirty actress, who turns 37 Monday, spent the weekend in Toronto with friends. "There was a delicious dinner at Brassaii, ping pong matches, crazy dancing and karaoke," she revealed. "The past few years has been so wonderful and full of work that I sometimes feel like I live on a film set. It was great to spend time with my nearest and dearest. It's a reminder of what's important in life."

Chastain shared six photos with her Facebook friends, including one with Tom Hiddleston . Thanks to Twitter, the actors were falsely rumored to be dating in early 2013. "Why would they say that?" she asked during a USA Today interview. "It's not true at all." They co-star in the movie Crimson Peak, slated for release on Oct. 16, 2015.

The actress next stars in Interstellar, which also features Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway . Directed by Christropher Nolan and arriving in theaters Nov. 7, it tells the story of space explorers who travel through a wormhole. Chastian also appears in the movie Miss Julie, co-starring Colin Farrell .

Chastian recently wrapped production on A Most Violent Year, set in 1981 Manhattan. "Working with talent like JC Chandor and Oscar Isaac are the reason I love my job," she raved on Facebook. "I'm a very lucky girl."
