The chatshow host interviewed former US president Bill Clinton, wife Hillary and daughter Chelsea at an event at the Clinton Global Initiative University in Tempe, Arizona.
He later took inspiration from fellow presenter Ellen DeGeneres - who broke Twitter records with her Oscars selfie - by appearing in a picture with all three Clintons.
However, it doesn't seem likely that the photo will challenge DeGeneres's star-studded selfie, as it has been retweeted just over 7,000 times.

DeGeneres's post has been retweeted nearly 3.5 million times in the last three weeks.
The now-infamous Oscars selfie has been recreated by various stars in recent weeks, including the BBC Breakfast presenters, the cast of Made in Chelsea and Joan Collins.
Earlier this week, Barack Obama - who lost the record for most retweets - jokingly branded the Oscars selfie a "cheap stunt".
