Scandal's Dan Bucatinsky has signed on to appear in the Casey Wilson pilot Marry Me .
Former Saturday Night Live star Tim Meadows joined the project in February as one of Wilson's on-screen gay fathers, and Bucatinsky has now confirmed that he will play Meadows's husband in Marry Me.

The show - from Wilson's fiancé and Happy Endings producer David Caspe - stars the actress and Ken Marino as a couple facing the stresses of being engaged.

"It's hilariously funny and I'm excited to be in a comedy, and hopefully if that gets picked up I'll have the opportunity to play with those guys," Bucatinsky told The Hollywood Reporter .
Bucatinsky is a Primetime Emmy winner, having earned an Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series trophy for playing James Novak in Scandal.
Marry Me is currently in development at NBC.
