Splash star Katherine Webb has got engaged to famed University of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron.
Webb went on to thank her 313,000 Twitter followers for the many congratulatory messages that she has received over the weekend.
The couple previously denied that they had gotten engaged back in February 2013, after lifestyle guru Martha Stewart erroneously tweeted that they were to marry.

Webb revealed on Twitter that McCarron popped the question on Friday (March 28), and shared a picture of her reaction to his proposal.
Webb went on to thank her 313,000 Twitter followers for the many congratulatory messages that she has received over the weekend.
The former Miss Alabama winner wrote: "Thank you all for the sweet messages! It's been a wild and crazy weekend. We can't wait to share our journey with you… Can't wait to marry my best friend."
Webb also shared a photograph of her engagement ring, which McCarron apparently personally designed.

Webb rose to fame last year at the BCS National Championship game, when sportscaster Brent Musburger took an extended period of time on the air to remark on Webb's beauty.
The beauty queen has since expressed a desire to compete on Dancing with the Stars . She appeared in the US version of Splash in 2013.
