TORONTO - Arcade Fire already holds a field-leading six nominations for the Junos.
Now organizers of Canada's music awards say the indie rock heroes will perform via a taped performance to be broadcast on the CTV network.
Arcade Fire, likely to dominate the prize-giving at the Junos, is unable to attend the March 30 shindig in Winnipeg due to a prior date at Lollapalooza in Santiago, Chile during a South American swing.
The Montreal rockers in 2011 shocked the Grammys by winning album of the year, the industry's most sought-after trophy, and has since enjoyed superstar status.
Rockers OneRepublic and eight-time Juno winner Sarah McLachlan are also among the latest performers added to the Junos lineup.
They join previously-announced performers Robin Thicke, Classified, Serena Ryder, The Sheepdogs, Tegan and Sara, and Walk Off The Earth.
The Junos will be co-hosted by Classified, Johnny Reid, and Serena Ryder.
