Game of Thrones season 4 premiere to be preceded by series marathon

Game of Thrones' season four premiere will be preceded by a 60-hour marathon of the full series.

The new episodes of HBO's adaptation of the George RR Martin novels kick off on Sunday, April 6 at 9pm ET with the season opener 'Two Swords'.

HBO2 is celebrating the show's return by airing every episode of the series twice beginning on Friday, April 4 at 9am ET.


Fans will additionally be able to follow Game of Thrones Viewer's Guide on HBO's website and mobile services for in-depth info on storylines.


The companion service also offers interviews with cast and crew, as well behind-the-scenes featurettes.


Sunday's all-new episode will also be simulcast in the UK on Sky Atlantic.
