The Star Wars actor has signed up to play the grandfather in the first Broadway adaptation of George S Kaufman and Moss Hart's play in 31 years.

Scott Ellis will direct this new version of You Can't Take It with You, having previously worked on 12 Angry Men and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
You Can't Take It with You is a comedy about the progressive Sycamore family, whose world is rocked when their daughter brings home her fiancé's conservative family.
The play was last staged on Broadway back in 1983, although a 2010 show was planned but ultimately scrapped. This new version will begin previews in August.
Jones is a two-time Tony Award winner for his work in The Great White Hope and Fences.
He was also nominated for the prestigious theatre award two other times for On Golden Pond and The Best Man.
