About 72% of buyers in the UK are exclusively purchasing boxed products, according to market research firm Kantar Worldpanel (via MCV ).

The report also found that 10% of video game players buy digital titles only, while 18% purchase both.
In addition, Kantar revealed that the console gaming population of adults in the UK is roughly six tiles larger than that of children.
However, 76% of kids play console games, whereas 55% of adults play on consoles.
A previous report claimed that the majority of players would rather download a free game with advertisements than pay money for a game without ads.
