Brad Pitt was reportedly attacked by a member of the public at the Maleficent premiere in Hollywood last night (May 28).
The attacker is thought to be notorious red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who recently crawled under the gown of America Ferrera at the Cannes Film Festival.
Pitt was attending the Maleficent premiere alongside partner Angelina Jolie, who stars as the titular character.

According to TMZ , a man jumped over the barrier and struck the actor's face while he was signing autographs.
The attacker is thought to be notorious red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who recently crawled under the gown of America Ferrera at the Cannes Film Festival.
Police said that the suspect could be charged with misdemeanour battery.

Sediuk has had previous rumbles with Will Smith and interrupted Adele at the Grammy Awards in 2013.
