The Channel 4 serial won four awards at this year's ceremony, which took place last night (May 24) in London.

As well as scooping the top prize for the first time, Hollyoaks also picked up the Best Villain award for Anna Passey's portrayal of Sienna Blake, while Danny Mac was awarded Sexiest Male for the second year running.
Meanwhile, Ellis Hollins won the award for the Best Young Performance for his role as Tom Cunningham.
Coronation Street took home a total of nine awards, including Best Actress for Julie Hesmondhalgh and Best Actor for her on-screen partner David Neilson. The pair also won the Best On-Screen Partnership award for their portrayal of Roy and Hayley Cropper.
Hayley's cancer battle proved to be the night's big winner as the ITV soap also scooped the Best Storyline prize for the plot, as well as the Best Single Episode award for Hayley's death. Neilson was also awarded the Best Dramatic Performance prize.

Michelle Keegan wins Sexiest Female award
Michelle Keegan won the Sexiest Female award for the sixth year running, beating competition from her co-star Georgia May Foote.
Simon Gregson triumphed in the Best Comedy Performance category for his portrayal of Steve McDonald.
EastEnders won two awards, including Best Newcomer for Maddy Hill. The actress joined the soap as Nancy Carter earlier this year.
Emmerdale picked up one award for its storm and siege episode in the Spectacular Scene of the Year category.
The 2014 British Soap Awards air tonight night (May 25) at 8.15pm on ITV.
