The comedy will be created with James set to take the starring role, Deadline reports.

The family action-adventure film will be written by Tripper Clancy. It is said to be inspired by The Swiss Family Robinson.

The comedy will be created with James set to take the starring role, Deadline reports.
Sony is currently keeping Stranded's premise under wraps.
The idea behind the movie comes from James and Todd Garner, who will also serve as producers along with Sean Robins of Broken Road.
Jonathan Kadin will oversee for Sony. A release date has yet to be set.
James is also attached to Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 and the 2015 animation Pixels .
