Rumors continue to run rampant that Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are an item.
But a source tells E! News, "In truth, there is no romance there. They're good friends, but nothing more. The hype about it has been fun, but it's not real."
Well, there you go.
Nevertheless, the two clearly seemed to be enjoying each other's company as they celebrated their recent win on Dancing With the Stars with a night out at TAO in New York City on Thursday.
The dance partners were joined by eight others, including fellow DWTS cast members Val Chmerkovskiy and Tony Dovolani.

"The group started with dinner at the skybox table enjoying TAO favorites such as Chilean Sea Bass, Dim Sum and assorted sushi, and headed to TAO Lounge after dinner," says our source.
The day before, Wendy Williams couldn't help but address the dating rumors when Meryl and Maksim stopped by her show for an interview.
"Are y'all boyfriend and girlfriend, or lovers or anything?" Wendy inquired.
"We're not dating, no," Meryl replied.
Asked if she had a boyfriend, the ever-poised Olympic ice dancer said demurely, "We like to keep the personal lives personal."
