Robin Roberts is a glowing and proud girlfriend.
The Good Morning America co-host and her longtime partner Amber Laign made a rare public appearance together Monday at the 11th Annual GLSEN Respect Awards in New York City.
Roberts, 53, walked the red carpet in fitted black overalls and a long-sleeved white shirt.
Her 39-year-old girlfriend wore a pleated skirt paired with a sleeveless black blouse.
The GLSEN Respect Awards, organized by the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network, recognize efforts to ensure schools are safe for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students.

Roberts came out as gay in December.
The normally private anchorwoman made the announcement in a Facebook post, as she reflected on a "critical milestone" in her treatment for myelodysplastic syndrome, saying she was grateful for her "longtime girlfriend" Amber Laign, among others.
Laign is a licensed massage therapist who specializes in working with people recovering from injuries.
The two met on a blind date nine years ago.
