According to Re/code , the iPhone maker will release a unit that will put its new HealthKit tool to "good use".

Could Apple unveil an iWatch after years of rumour?
Apple revealed HealthKit earlier this week at the Worldwide Developers Conference, as part of its upcoming iOS 8 update.
Nikkei has also reported on the news, claiming that 3 to 5 million of the "watch-like wearable".
The device is apparently being developed in partnership with Nike, who scaled back efforts on its FuelBand in April to focus on integrating its software on more products.
If Apple does unmask a new product, it will be the first new product since last October, in which the iPad Air, the iPad mini with Retina display, the new Mac Pro, new MacBook pros were launched.
