Austin Mahone Jokes That His Pre-Fame Job Was Like "Child Slavery" on Chelsea Lately—Watch Now!

Should his career as an international pop star fail, Austin Mahone has no intention of returning to his first job as a bowling alley employee. "I had a job setting up bowling pins," the singer said on E!'s Chelsea Lately Wednesday. Working behind the lanes could get "pretty dangerous," Mahone added.

"It was child slavery," he joked of his pre-fame job in San Antoni, Texas. "It was horrible."

Given his ever-expanding fanbase, it's not likely he'll ever have to stack the pins again. In fact, the 18-year-old "Mmm Yeah" singer said he's already plotting future musical collaborations. "I wanna work with Drake," he told host Chelsea Handler . "I'm a big fan of Drake, so hopefully I'll get to do that."

Mahone also talked about touring with Taylor Swift and about the food fight they had in her room.
