According to the Metro , the doll was found by motorist Bev McNeill, who had seen the toy on the roadside on repeated journeys.

A real life version of Toy Story has started unravelling on Twitter after a Woody doll was found by the roadside on the M4.
The hashtag #getwoodyhome has been trending as the hunt for the doll's owner - believed to be a boy called Liam - gathers pace.
Toy Story writer and Pixar director Andrew Stanton has even got involved in the campaign to find Liam, retweeting the original message, which has now been shared nearly 5,000 times.

According to the Metro , the doll was found by motorist Bev McNeill, who had seen the toy on the roadside on repeated journeys.
"It would be wonderful to see little Woody and Liam reunited. I bet Liam is really missing him," said McNeill.
