Katy Perry sure gives California Gurls a good name!
The 29-year-old "Dark Horse" singer showed off her flawless bikini bod in a yellow bandeau top and tiny striped shorts Sunday, posting a picture of her vacation bliss to Instagram. She also quoted a lyric from singer Cleo Wade, captioning the shot (and writing on a napkin), "You walked in, I smiled."
Aw. K.P. Instagrammed another shot of herself lying down, "Swaying on the hammock under mango trees, fresh freckles on my face, everything irie." (Irie is a word used by Jamaicans to describe a worry-free, happy state—aka Ms. Perry on vacation!)

Don't think, though, that Katy looks like that from swaying on a hammock and enjoying the sun. She partakes in a variety of workouts, but as she told Fitness Magazine , "I prefer to get my exercise outside."
"I love feeling stronger and clearer-minded after a workout," she explained, "but I HATE mornings!"
John Mayer 's ex said it's actually pretty easy to "get in a workout every day" thanks to the "pretty steady rhythm" that comes from touring. But, being in tip-top shape is also a necessity! "I need to work out to keep my stamina up," she explained, "for singing and dancing at my shows."
It doesn't look like that should be a prob for her!
