Users have been unable to access most areas of the website since Sunday (June 8), with technicians currently working to bring it back online.
Access to the main website, as well as its web API, and services including scrobble submissions and music stations have been largely unavailable.
It has yet to be revealed why the site has gone offline for such a long period of time.
On Monday (June 9), a post on the site's status page read: "We are once again experiencing technical difficulties and as such you may experience intermittent access to the Last.fm website, API, and services including scrobbling and starting stations.
"We sincerely apologise for the disruption, and thank you for your patience while our engineers work to resolve this issue."
The latest update this afternoon (June 10) stated that engineers were "making steady progress to address the technical difficulties".
Earlier this year, Last.fm shut down its subscription radio streaming service.
