The Hollywood actor, who plays Jake Sulley in the James Cameron sci-fi epic, said that this weekend's UNICEF charity match would be the "pinnacle of [his] life" and is "far beyond anything [he's] ever accomplished".

"My job is my job and it gives me opportunities where you can be part of something that is much bigger," he told Digital Spy. "That's what you want to do. [Soccer Aid] isn't about whether you make movies or make music, it's about kids who are suffering or dying in these countries.
"If we can raise awareness to it, that's far beyond anything that I've ever accomplished in my life. This will be the pinnacle of my life, to be part of something that might actually help the world. I'm an entertainer, that's it. That's all I do."

Worthington will be joined by stars including Michael Sheen, Jeremy Renner, James McAvoy, Olly Murs and Stephen Moyer at Robbie Williams's Soccer Aid, which is broadcast live on ITV on Sunday (June 8) from 6pm.
Worthington is scheduled to return for three Avatar sequels.
Cameron suggested in April that scripts would be finished by now for the trio of films, which are due to be released yearly between 2016 and 2018.
