Cranston walked away as the Leading Actor in a Play for portraying Lyndon B Johnson, while Harris's performance as an East German transgender singer earned him Leading Actor in a Musical.

"A year ago I was hosting the Tonys – this is crazy," Harris said in his acceptance speech.
He added: "Playing Hedwig is an absolute joy. It's a role that I was terrified of. In taking it on, it's changed me and it's challenged me. It's exhausting, and it's so fun to perform it."
All the Way was also the recipient of the prestigious Best Play Award.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch was named Best Revival of a Musical, and Harris's co-star Lena Hall was voted to be Featured Actress in a Musical.
Best Revival of a Play went to A Raisin in the Sun, with its star Sophie Okonedo taking the Featured Actress in a Play trophy.
Best Musical – the night's final award – was given to A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder.
Other major winners included Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill star Audra McDonald for Leading Actress in a Play and Twelfth Night's Mark Rylance for Featured Actor in a Play.
Hugh Jackman hosted the ceremony from Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
