The Guardian reports that the singers have been secured for the opening and closing ceremonies for the games, which begin in Glasgow later this month.
The opening ceremony will showcase Scottish talent, with half-Scottish Stewart and West Lothian-born Boyle both scheduled to sing for the 40,000-strong Celtic Park crowd on July 23.
The opening event will also feature singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald, violinist Nicola Benedetti and Gaelic-language singer Julie Fowlis.
Kylie Minogue will perform a five-song set at the closing ceremony at Hampden Stadium on August 3, linking Glasgow to the Australian Gold Coast, the host of the 2018 Games.
