A week after the Fox News host forcibly introduced a new head-scratching — and what many consider a downright sexist — phrase into our lexicon, someone’s gone and spinned “Beyonce voters” on its head and turned it into a reminder of who really run the world.
“I call them the Beyoncé Voters—the single ladies. Obama won single ladies by 76 percent last time, and made up about a quarter of the electorate,” Watters said last week during a discussion about the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby ruling, which ruled that employers can refuse to cover contraception if it goes against their religious beliefs. “They depend on government because they’re not depending on their husbands. They need contraception, health care, and they love to talk about equal pay.”

Like many feminists, 20-year-old Harvard student Sarah Coughlin didn’t really appreciate that generalization all too much, and went and created the Beyonce Voters tumblr earlier this week — creating memes of female politicians (mostly democrat) with Bey lyrics.
The result is, naturally, badass.
