In my eyes, there’s very little that Benedict Cumberbatch can do wrong. He’s Sherlock, and he’s probably going to get an Oscar nomination this year. The man is one of the very best.
But I think we all have to admit that he doesn’t know how to pronounce “penguin.”
The above clip, which recently surfaced on reddit, comes from the BBC nature doc “Wild Pacific.” Cumberbatch makes a few bold attempts to say “penguin,” but the best he can come up with is “pengwings.”
