Sven-Goran Eriksson is to receive £30,000 in damages as the publisher of the Daily Mirror settles six phone-hacking claims.

Details were laid out in a document submitted at a high court hearing on Friday.
The high court also heard how MGN is facing up to 48 civil claims for phone-hacking compensation.

According to The Guardian, Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) has agreed to pay £125,000 for the claims, although it still faces nearly additional 50 compensation cases.

Former England manager Eriksson had demanded £200,000, but eventually settled out of court for £30,000.
Ex-Doctor Who star Christopher Eccleston applied for £100,000, but will also receive £30,000, while Abbie Gibson - a nanny formerly employed by David and Victoria Beckham - has settled for £15,000.

The high court also heard how MGN is facing up to 48 civil claims for phone-hacking compensation.
Four other cases involving the likes of EastEnders star Shane Richie and BBC executive Alan Yentob, are yet to be settled.
The case is back in court on October 7, with a trial expected next February.
