See Adrianne Palicki as Mockingbird in Marvel's Agents of SHIELD

Marvel's Agents of SHIELD has unveiled its first image of Adrianne Palicki as the superhero Mockingbird.

Palicki will portray the super spy Bobbi 'Mockingbird' Morse, who is enlisted by Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) to help rebuild SHIELD following HYDRA's infiltration.

Mockingbird will first appear early in season two, with an eye for a return for the character later in the season.

Season two's opener 'Shadows' featured Coulson trying to obtain a cosmic object while being tracked by HYDRA enforcer Absorbing Man (Brian Patrick Wade).

Upcoming episodes will also see Kyle MacLachlan returning as the mysterious character known only as The Doctor.

The series airs on ABC in the US. Channel 4 broadcasts the show in the UK.
