FX has renewed Tyrant for a second season.
FX executive Nick Grad made the announcement of Tyrant's renewal on Thursday (September 18).
Tyrant stars Adam Rayner as Barry Al-Fayeed, who is forced to deal with his Middle-Eastern descent.

The series has been given a 13 episode renewal, with an eye for the new episodes to debut next year.
FX executive Nick Grad made the announcement of Tyrant's renewal on Thursday (September 18).
"We're so proud of Tyrant's performance throughout its first season," Grad said.
"Howard Gordon is one of the best and most successful producers in this business. His ability to combine intelligent, edge-of-your-seat storytelling with events from the current geopolitical climate is truly groundbreaking."
Grad concluded: "We look forward to seeing how Tyrant grows in season two."
