If the trailer for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1” was a bit too dark for you, don’t worry, Jimmy Kimmel’s got you covered.
The late-night talk show host just had put his signature comedic spin on the highly-anticipated film by making his own trailer.
“They’re also taking a slightly different marketing approach this time around to try to appeal to people who might not be interested in a movie about teenagers murdering each other,” joked Kimmel in setting up the clip.
In the tongue-in-cheek clip, Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss has to choose between Josh Hutcherson’s Peeta and Liam Hemsworth’s Gale in a new romantic comedy—that would also obviously star Katherine Heigl—called “Cupid’s Arrow.”
