BBC One's Silk is to be remade for US television.
Moffat is attached as executive producer for the US version, which will be scripted by Drop Dead Diva writer Marty Scott.
The legal series from BAFTA-winning writer Peter Moffat is being adapted by ABC, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

The original Silk - starring Maxine Peake as Martha Costello QC - ran for three series on BBC One, launching in 2011 and airing its final episode earlier this year.
ABC's planned series will reinvent Costello as a US attorney who works at elitist law firm Crown & Royce.
This is the second of Moffat's projects to be adapted for US television, with HBO still working on a long-gestating adaptation of another BBC series, Criminal Justice .
