Emmerdale also enjoyed a strong evening, bringing in its highest audience since March 3 as 6.98m (34.2%) saw the aftermath of Charity's kidnap at 7pm on ITV and 108k (0.5%) on +1.

Neighbours entertained 654k (9.2%) at 1.45pm and 874k (6.0%) at 5.30pm on Channel 5 with Kyle and Georgia's wedding.
Home and Away mustered 257k (3.4%) at 1.15pm and 584k (3.4%) at 6pm on Channel 5, while 5*'s first look claimed 441k (2.3%) at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, Doctors was seen by 1.56m (22.3%) at 1.45pm on BBC One.
